This is an upright growing tree, leaves five-seven lobed, the foliage in spring comes out a brilliant light green, turning rusty brown in summer. The new summer growth is a shining copper pink to red, contrasting well against the older foliage. Autumn colours of reds and yellows. It has grey to white bark in the winter
