This cultivar has vivid red new foliage, which turns to a dark purple red, which holds it’s colour well throughout the summer. All new leaves appearing in summer are again vivid red, and contrast well with the darker red background. A medium growing tree often multi stemmed. Autumn colour is vivid red.
