An upright grower with a deeply lobed leaf. In spring the leaves emerge orange and then turn a pleasing light green in the summer. In summer the new second growth lights up like a flame, hence the name. An added bonus is the winter bark is also orange on the newer growth. Autumn colours of bright red, with oranges and yellows.
