This is a rather special cultivar with large, deeply lobed leaves. On first emerging the leaves are mid-chocolate brown with green veining, and covered in soft pubescence. They become an unusual dark olive green by early summer, and turn bronze green in the summer and early autumn, full autumn colour of striking oranges and yellow.
