Acer palmatum ‘Ibo nishiki’

Ibo is one of the Japanese words for warty, indicating the interesting bark of this cultivar. The main bark colour is green, until the 'wartyness' joins together which it is slow to do. Spring colour is light yellow green with bronze-tinted margins, becoming a good fresh green for summer. Autumn colours range from yellow-orange to deep crimson.
