Acer palmatum ‘Ariadne’

Deeply divided leaves, coarsely serrate margins, reddish purple with pink variegation, that lasts all summer and is also visible in autumn.  New growth is especially attractive, with yellow green veining on pastel shades of light orange-pink-red marbled background. Autumn brings the return of the orange-pink-red marbling with a deeper red spreading inwards from the margins.
