Acer palmatum ‘Aratama’ is a very desirable, pretty, true dwarf compact shrub. Showy light red leaves, that turn more and more green-flushed-purple in summer and then bright orange/red in autumn. Makes an excellent container plant.
The name “Aratama” means “uncut gem”.
